Uncharted The Lost Legacy – Xbox360

I’m curious to see how Chloe  and Nadine end up working together.
It’s cool to be able to play someone other than Nathan Drake. Just like The Last Of Us: Left Behind, we’ve gone from a largely male-driven main game to a female-led expansion. Something for everyone. I wonder if Naughty Dog could continue the Uncharted IP like this without Drake?
This reminds me a bit of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon which was also offered as a stand-alone expansion to Far Cry 3. It also reminds me of Fallout 4 and Dying Light, both of which got season pass price bumps when it turned out their expansion content was so…expansive.
Here’s the official description of The Lost Legacy’s story:
“In order to recover a fabled ancient Indian artifact and keep it out of the hands of a ruthless war profiteer, Chloe Frazer must enlist the aid of renowned mercenary Nadine Ross (from Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End). Together, they’ll venture deep into the mountains of India in search of the legendary artifact. Along the way, they’ll learn to work together to unearth the mystery of the artifact, fight their way through fierce opposition, and prevent the region from falling into chaos.”

Vampyr – Xbox360

The development began with a team of 60 people – later expanded to around 80 –[26] many of whom worked on Dontnod Entertainment’s previous project Life Is Strange.[6] For a short time, the developer considered to set the game in 1950s America,[11] but to inspire a more gothic mood it was discarded in favour of the 1918 London Spanish flu pandemic. The paintings of Phil Hale influenced the art style, also for the purpose of atmosphere.[27] Television series Casualty 1900s and The Knick were turned to for medical information.[22] Dontnod conducted field research on the setting by visiting London and taking photographs,[6] but since the city had been largely rebuilt, history books and documentaries concerning Whitechapel, the London Docks and the Isle of Dogs were also consulted.[23] Events surrounding the period were studied using both factual and fictional reference points[a] to create the visuals, realised with photorealistic lighting,[28] and post-processes running on the Unreal Engine 4.[5][27] The killing of innocents in the game as the price for immortality is intended to explore the dualism of the protagonist’s survival as a vampire while also being a doctor, either by adhering to the Hippocratic Oath or capitulating to the vampiric nature.[27][29]
In August 2016, Dontnod had overcome the major obstacles in developing the game on Xbox One and assured that there would be no downgrades despite its hardware disadvantages.

The Surge – XBOX360

Shamelessly Souls-y action-RPG The Surge will launch on May 16th, publishers Focus Home Interactive announced today. Our Adam recently played a preview chunk and quite enjoyed it, happily lopping limbs off robots to craft bigger limbswords. Sadly, while it does let you lop off a bot’s chainsaw arm to craft your own chainarm, I don’t believe it reaches ridiculous levels of e.g. ripping off and swinging a 30-metre diggerarm like in NieR: Automata. Ooh, aren’t we serious! Still, The Surge does look like it could be fun.

Call of Duty Infinite Warfare Sabotage DLC – Xbox360

After many teasers, details on new Call of Duty maps were given out by developer Infinity Ward. The new DLC is to include four new multiplayer maps named Noir, Renaissance, Neon, and Dominion. Then, there is a ’90s-themed Zombies map called Rave in the Redwoods. All of the mentioned maps will arrive at the same time as a pack. You cannot purchase them individually, but you don’t need to buy every DLC map pack, either.
Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare Sabotage DLC is coming soon, and its pre-order bonus and release time have been revealed. The details arrive via the expansion’s PlayStation Store page.
The Sabotage DLC is set to release at 12 a.m. EST on Jan. 31. Once everything’s been downloaded and installed, players will have access to a new Zombies installment, called Rave In The Redwoods, as well as four multiplayer maps. Speaking of Rave In The Redwoods, those who pre-order the content or have a season pass will get a special dynamic theme based on the update. The theme offers different lighting depending on the user’s actions.
